Barton was on assignment as the announcer at the ISA World Games in El Salvador and also the US Boardriders Championships at Trestles in Southern California. The journey included two surf trips in the Maldives and we  have reaction to the sad news of the passing of great Hawaiian power surfer Dane Kealoha.
