The packaging industry stands at a pivotal crossroads. With nearly half of global plastic waste coming from packaging, the need for change is urgent—and the opportunity for impact is massive. Regulation in the form of new legislation, including Extended Producer Responsibility, is also poised to be a major force for change. New Earth Ventures is Atlantic Packaging’s commitment to backing the founders, technologies, and ideas that will transform packaging.
In collaborating with customers to help them transition away from problematic single-use plastic packaging, we've learned a great deal about the specific hurdles brands face in their packaging decisions. This has helped develop an innovation roadmap that NEV can reference in finding the next-generation solutions that will scale the real-world solutions our customers are asking for today.
